Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

By signing in or otherwise using RoleFrame, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What RoleFrame is

RoleFrame gathers open tech jobs in India from companies’ own career websites, reads your resume, and shows you the jobs that fit it best. It can rewrite your resume for a job, fill job applications for you with AI Apply, apply for you in the background with Auto apply, and send you job alerts and messages. RoleFrame is free to use. Some features come with a monthly allowance, which the app shows you as you use it.

RoleFrame is not an employer, recruiter or placement agency. We do not take part in hiring. Every application is made on the employer’s own website, under that employer’s terms.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You sign in with a Google account, so you must also follow Google’s terms for that account.

4. Your account

Your account is for you alone. Keep your Google account secure, because anyone who can sign in to it can sign in to RoleFrame as you. Tell us through our Facebook page if you think someone else has used your account.

5. Your resume and content

You keep ownership of your resume and anything else you give us. You allow us to store and process it, including sending it to the AI service described in our Privacy Policy, only to run RoleFrame for you. This permission ends when you delete your account.

When you upload a resume, you confirm that:

• it is your own resume, or you have the owner’s permission to upload it;
• it is truthful, to the best of your knowledge; and
• it contains nothing unlawful, harmful or infringing, and no malware.

6. Job listings and matches

Listings come from employers’ public career sites and belong to those employers. We check them regularly and remove the ones that close, but we cannot promise that every listing is accurate, complete or still open, and we are not responsible for employers’ websites, what they say, or how they treat applications.

Your matches and match scores are automated suggestions made by software, including AI. They can be wrong. Use your own judgement about which jobs to apply for. We do not promise you an interview, an offer or a job.

7. AI Apply

AI Apply fills job application forms in your own browser, using the RoleFrame extension, your resume and the answers you saved. Where a form asks something your saved answers do not cover, an AI may suggest an answer from your resume. AI Apply never types your own passwords. It types a password only for a job-site account RoleFrame made for you with your permission, and a one-time code only when it came to your RoleFrame mailbox. It leaves to you anything it cannot answer from what you gave us.

An application is yours. You are responsible for what is sent to an employer in your name. Check each form before it is submitted, including every answer the AI suggested. By default you press Submit yourself. If you turn on Auto mode, you ask RoleFrame to submit, for you, the forms it filled completely, within the limits you set, and you accept those applications as your own. You can turn Auto mode off at any time in Settings.

Forms differ from site to site and change without notice, so AI Apply can fill a field wrongly or not at all. You must follow each employer’s and each hiring system’s own terms, including any rules they have about automated tools.

8. Auto apply

Auto apply is optional and off until you turn it on. While it is on, RoleFrame applies for you from its own server: it picks jobs that fit what you asked for, up to your daily limit and the monthly allowance, fills each form with your resume and saved answers the way AI Apply does, and submits it. You can turn it off at any time on the Auto apply page.

Its applications are yours. By turning Auto apply on, you ask RoleFrame to submit applications in your name without showing you each one first, and you accept them as your own. Everything it applied to, and when, is listed on the Auto apply page. A job it cannot finish is left for you to finish yourself.

Job-site accounts. Some hiring systems need an account on each company’s site. If you allow it in Settings, RoleFrame creates those accounts for you with your RoleFrame address and a password it generates, and uses them to apply. They are accounts on the employers’ sites, under those sites’ terms. You can see each one, and its password, in Settings, and you close them on those sites.

Your RoleFrame mailbox. RoleFrame gives you your own email address and fills it into every application it fills for you, so employers write to it. You allow us to receive and keep the emails sent to it as our Privacy Policy describes, to use the verification codes they contain for your applications, and to tell you what employers say. Read your Inbox: an employer may reply there rather than to your own email.

Sending from it. You can reply from your RoleFrame address to people who email it, and write new emails from it to one person at a time. You are responsible for what you send, and you agree to use it only for your own job search: no spam, no bulk or unsolicited messages, nothing unlawful or misleading. We may limit how many emails you send, and stop sending from an account that misuses it.

9. Telegram messages

Messages are optional. If you connect Telegram, you agree to receive job alerts there, and news from Auto apply and your job emails, and Telegram’s own terms apply to your use of it. You can disconnect at any time on the Auto apply page. Messages can be delayed or missed, so do not rely on them alone for a deadline.

10. Rules of use

Please do not:

• copy or collect RoleFrame’s listings or data in bulk, by scraping, bots or any other automated means;
• try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or test or bypass our security;
• overload, disrupt or interfere with the service;
• upload someone else’s resume or personal details without their permission;
• use RoleFrame for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, or to send spam;
• pretend to be someone else, or to be connected with RoleFrame when you are not.

We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

11. Our content

The RoleFrame name, logo, website and software belong to us. You may use the site as these terms allow, but you may not copy, sell or reuse them otherwise.

12. Changes and availability

We may add, change or remove features, and we may pause or stop the service. We will try to give notice of major changes. If we ever shut RoleFrame down, we will delete your data as our Privacy Policy describes.

13. No guarantees

RoleFrame is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for your particular purpose, or that any listing or match is accurate.

14. Limits on our liability

RoleFrame is a free tool, and using it does not create any payment or compensation owed to you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, direct or indirect, such as a missed job opportunity, lost income, or an employer’s decision, arising from your use of RoleFrame or of any employer’s website.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have, or any liability we have, that cannot be limited under Indian law.

15. Ending your use

You can stop using RoleFrame at any time, and delete your account and all your data yourself in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. The sections on your content, no guarantees, limits on liability and governing law continue to apply after your use ends.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will point them out on the site before they take effect. If you keep using RoleFrame after that, you accept the updated terms.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
