Terms of Service

1. Agreeing to these terms

By signing in or otherwise using RoleFrame, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. What RoleFrame is

RoleFrame gathers open tech jobs in India from companies’ own career websites, reads your resume, and shows you the jobs that fit it best. You can also set up job alerts. RoleFrame is free to use.

RoleFrame is not an employer, recruiter or placement agency. We do not take part in hiring. When you apply for a job, you leave RoleFrame and apply on the employer’s own website, under that employer’s terms.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You sign in with a Google account, so you must also follow Google’s terms for that account.

4. Your account

Your account is for you alone. Keep your Google account secure, because anyone who can sign in to it can sign in to RoleFrame as you. Tell us at support@theroleframe.com if you think someone else has used your account.

5. Your resume and content

You keep ownership of your resume and anything else you give us. You allow us to store and process it, including sending it to the AI service described in our Privacy Policy, only to run RoleFrame for you. This permission ends when you delete your account.

When you upload a resume, you confirm that:

• it is your own resume, or you have the owner’s permission to upload it;
• it is truthful, to the best of your knowledge; and
• it contains nothing unlawful, harmful or infringing, and no malware.

6. Job listings and matches

Listings come from employers’ public career sites and belong to those employers. We check them regularly and remove the ones that close, but we cannot promise that every listing is accurate, complete or still open, and we are not responsible for employers’ websites, what they say, or how they treat applications.

Your matches and match scores are automated suggestions made by software, including AI. They can be wrong. Use your own judgement about which jobs to apply for. We do not promise you an interview, an offer or a job.

7. Telegram alerts

Alerts are optional. If you connect Telegram, you agree to receive job alerts there, and Telegram’s own terms apply to your use of it. You can disconnect at any time in Settings. Alerts can be delayed or missed, so do not rely on them alone for a deadline.

8. Rules of use

Please do not:

• copy or collect RoleFrame’s listings or data in bulk, by scraping, bots or any other automated means;
• try to get into accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or test or bypass our security;
• overload, disrupt or interfere with the service;
• upload someone else’s resume or personal details without their permission;
• use RoleFrame for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, or to send spam;
• pretend to be someone else, or to be connected with RoleFrame when you are not.

We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules.

9. Our content

The RoleFrame name, logo, website and software belong to us. You may use the site as these terms allow, but you may not copy, sell or reuse them otherwise.

10. Changes and availability

We may add, change or remove features, and we may pause or stop the service. We will try to give notice of major changes. If we ever shut RoleFrame down, we will delete your data as our Privacy Policy describes.

11. No guarantees

RoleFrame is provided free of charge, “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for your particular purpose, or that any listing or match is accurate.

12. Limits on our liability

RoleFrame is a free tool, and using it does not create any payment or compensation owed to you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss, direct or indirect, such as a missed job opportunity, lost income, or an employer’s decision, arising from your use of RoleFrame or of any employer’s website.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have, or any liability we have, that cannot be limited under Indian law.

13. Ending your use

You can stop using RoleFrame at any time, and delete your account and all your data yourself in Settings. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. The sections on your content, no guarantees, limits on liability and governing law continue to apply after your use ends.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will point them out on the site before they take effect. If you keep using RoleFrame after that, you accept the updated terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
